Datawrkz Launches lvlUp BidAmp - A Supply-side Header Bidding and Mediation Platform

BENGALURU, December 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --

Datawrkz, a leading global technology provider for publishers, agencies and brands, announced the launch of BidAmp, one of the only Header Bidding products built in Asia. BidAmp is the company's recent addition to its lvlUp suite of supply-side products.

BidAmp enables publishers to mediate requests between various Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs)/Exchanges so that the highest bid wins at the ad-server level. With BidAmp's integrated Header Bidding functionality, publishers can drive Google's DoubleClick Ad Exchange (AdX) and Direct Campaigns to compete against other exchanges on a dynamic basis on DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP).

Speaking on the occasion, Senthil Govindan, CEO and Co-founder, Datawrkz, said, "Datawrkz was built on the platform of trust and transparency. Our vision is to democratize the ad-tech world by making technology solutions accessible to various stakeholders in the digital ecosystem. BidAmp is a critical solution for publishers to maximize their yield by providing greater competition for their impressions. Since all exchanges are now evaluated in one place, the Publisher Waterfall has been rendered irrelevant."

Header bidding enables better incorporation of programmatic demand from non-AdX sources ahead of the call to DFP. Because BidAmp moves the valuation by non-AdX exchanges ahead of the call to DFP, publishers can weigh the true value of an impression not based on an average, but at an impression level and lets it compete with network and AdX demand.

"By flattening the waterfall and eliminating pass-backs, we are able to significantly reduce discrepancies that were introduced by the ad request being passed from one exchange to another. As against exchange-specific Header Bidding solutions, BidAmp is a third-party solution that is agnostic about which exchange wins an impression, thus being completely aligned with the Publisher's interests," elucidated Senthil.

"The launch of BidAmp is an exciting step, but our objective is to continue refining our products and services to create maximum value for our partners. We have integrated the solution with a few leading publishing sites and the results have far exceeded expectations. Depending on the geography and the category of the publisher, we have witnessed anywhere between 15% and 40% increase in the CPM rate with BidAmp. This is truly a revolution on the sell side of the digital system," added Anand, COO and Co-founder, Datawrkz.
