Smithsonian Institution Delegates on India Tour, Halt at Grand Hyatt to View Rajeev Sethi's Artwork

Four representatives from the Smithsonian Institution were invited at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai to view the artwork designed by Mr. Rajeev Sethi for the hotel. Mr. Rajeev Sethi - a noted Indian designer, art curator and the founder & chairman of The Asian Heritage Foundation, invited the dignitaries as a part of a mega art and culture event planned in 2018 at Washington DC, USA to promote South Asian art. The evening held at Grand Hyatt Mumbai marks the beginning of the India tour planned for Smithsonian representatives as a first step towards the 2018 event titled the 'Sasian Journey'.

Mr. Rajeev Sethi along with Mrs. Namita Saraf, owner of the Grand Hyatt Mumbai property, hosted Nandita Das, renowned Indian actress and 15 other artists, designers, journalists and humanitarians from Pakistan, the U.S. and the UK at the event held to welcome the Smithsonian delegates. The artwork by Rajeev Sethi at Grand Hyatt Mumbai has been a part of the hotel's décor since 2003. It is the reflection of the passion shared by Mr. Arun Saraf and his wife Mrs. Namita Saraf for contemporary art.
