So what has changed at China House Lounge? Well to begin with everything has changed, it's no more just a night club and they are now open on all days of the week from 1700 hours to 0200 hours. The food and beverage offerings have evolved to embrace the best of global flavors and signature cocktail experiences. The menu has been crafted by Chef Jef Foster and showcases the best of modern Indian, authentic Chinese and London inspired cuisine served with a twist. The cocktail rituals are inspired from the prohibition era and come with a classic quirk twist making them conversation starters.

This is the first time Johnnie Walker has collaborated with a venue in India, to offer its audience an exclusive Johnnie Walker experience. Like the iconic brand itself, the collaboration is distinct but subtle - easy to discern by connoisseurs with a keen eye for detail.

The experience of discovery starts from the very beginning of the gallery walkthrough towards the actual lounge. The long corridor uses brick and lattice work to create a sense of mystery, as you enter a new world, much like the by-lanes of Chinatown. The simple up-lighting creates a shadow-play of the lattice work on the ground. This is overlooked across by the strong focal point of a coin wall. The journey begins from the exclusive China House Lounge entrance where you are greeted by a stunning wall of coins, insinuating property and wealth and resonating the ambiance of the Chinese trading routes of the 40's and the 60's. The overall design aim is to be effortless and sexy with a hint of risqué.

One of the strongest design interventions at China House has been a re-invention of the way lights have been used across to engage and disrupt the entire experience. The lights encompass the entire range of a nightclub from a romantic twinkling of the stars to an all out late night experience - no two nights at China House Lounge will be the same.

The rest of the space creates the illusion of a treasure trove. From the gold glass on the walls, to the facets, to the gold distillation process, the overall look is opulent and luxurious referencing to the design thought.

While the lounge will now be open on all days from 1700 hours onwards as a transitional lounge serving up delightful food and craft cocktails, it will be a members only zone on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2300 hours to 0200 hours.
